Kora von Krefeld is a beautiful 1-2 year old black sable German Shepherd. Kora is a wonderful mid-sized girl with an engaging, attentive and sweet demeanor. She'll tell you just what she wants, affection, by nudging your hand until you give her the scratches she likes. A smart and responsive girl who enjoys learning, she is a favorite of our staff who like teaching her extra commands, most recently to roll over. She is crate-trained and was described as obedient and well-behaved inside the home and outside in the yard at a prior home. She knows her commands Sit, Stay and Heel, and is a pleasure to take on a walk, maintaining a steady position by your side. She takes treats gently from your hand, and loves balls and toys. Small dogs and cats are on her 'No, thank you' list, but Kora does well around the dogs at the rescue. She meets them face-to-face on her walks with no issue, and now happily joins in play during playgroups. Yes, we know she is stunning. She looks like a working dog or a police dog and definitely draws attention wherever she goes. But she is so much more than her striking looks. Come meet her and see for yourself!
